Price Watch on Livestock Products in April 2003
The average wholesale price of pork in the main agriculture wholesale markets is $1765.30MT/ at the end of April 2003, down 2.53% from mid-term of April and 4.66% decreased than that of last year and the price is expected do drop in the next week.
The average wholesale price of beef is $1765.3/ton, decreased 0.99% over last week and increased 6.26% compared with the same period of last year and the price will be continue to drop next week.
For the mutton, the price is $1824.95/ton, up 2.54% over last week and up 1.22% over the same period of last year. The price is expected to rise moderately next week.
The chicken average wholesale price in the main agricultural wholesale markets nationwide is $807.02/ton, dropped 2.86% from last week and down 5.14% from the same period of last year. The price is expected t drop next week.
For the eggs, the average wholesale price is $470.38/ton this week, up 4.44% from last week and down 8.14% over the same period of last year and the price is expected to remain unchanged next week.
