Animal Epidemic Prevention Conference Convened in Hunan
In recent days, Animal epidemic prevention conference was convened in Changsha.
Mr. Yang Taibo, Co-chair from the Hunan province, indicated that there are five aspects should be emphasized:
To strengthen the lead and consolidate responsibility system of government;
To improve the performing function and cooperation of different departments;
To stabilize and improve the system of animal epidemic prevention;
To strengthen the construction of basic service system;
To increase the investment for the related system.
International Animal Quarantine Workshop will be Held in Beijing
The International Animal Quarantine Workshop will be held at Zhongyuan Hotel of Beijing in the late of 2003.
This is one major international animal quarantine and inspection academic workshop that organized by China. There will be some well-known industry specialists and official from the World Animal Sanitation Organization, United States, France, Australia and other countries.
It is expected that there will be about 500 participants from the overseas and China to be in the Workshop.
