The Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) plans to expand “The Student Milk Project” to 100 cities and counties and supply 10 million packages each day. This plan will bring big business opportunity for Chinese dairy products enterprises.

MOA is planning to strongly develop the dairy industry in Northeast, Northern China, Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai. In 2015, it is expected to produce 33 million ton of milk and per capita production reaches 23kg. In 2010 the student milk program only consumes about 2% of the total production; however, it will significantly improve the youth health.
