Foreigners in mutton-eating contest

A group of young foreigners, most of whom are studying at universities in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province, took part in a mutton-eating competition recently.
The mutton was served with steamed breads, a traditional dish in Northwest China.
One of the foreigners managed to eat a large bowl of the food in only two minutes.
"It's great (the local food), I do hope more foreigners can enjoy the food here as we do," said the champion mutton-eater, a student from Pakistan.
